Best Places to Fish in Your State in February

Best Places to Fish in Your State in February

If you survived the winter storms that have been ransacking the country for the past few months, you're probably about ready to get out of the house. Sure, family time and household projects are great, but we know you're really dreaming of fishing. It's ok, we are too.

We've rounded up the three best places to fish in your state this month along with what species to target. No matter where you live, or where you plan to travel, there's some great angling to be had this month. For trout fishing in Pennsylvania, the place to be is Spring Creek in Centre County. If you live the Pacific Northwest you'll definitely want to check out the steelhead on the Umpqua River in Oregon. If you live in Mississippi, get out your favorite bass gear, because Okhissa Lake is a lunker largemouth haven.

Whether you're bass fishing in shorts under the Florida sun, or bundled up out on the ice drumming up slabs, we know that fishing is what you live for, so tight lines!

Be sure to check back in March for the best places to fish in your state this spring. Have a great trophy photo you want to show the world? Share your best fishing photos with us on Camera Corner!
