Bear Archery has announced that it has signed Kansas archer Theresa Vail to its pro staff and as one of the company's brand ambassadors.
Vail, who won the "Miss Kansas" title in 2013 and finished in the Top-10 of the Miss America pageant, is a sergeant in the Kansas National Guard. She is pursuing a psychology degree from the American Military University.
A passionate outdoors enthusiast, Vail is also a dedicated bowhunter who is featured on Realtree Outdoors' new "Monster Bucks 22" DVD that is hitting shelves this summer in stores across the nation.
In that "Monster Bucks" DVD, Vail joined Team Realtree's David Blanton on a bowhunt in her home state of Kansas. During the filming of that episode, she was able to arrow her biggest whitetail buck to date despite extremely cold weather conditions.

In addition to her Realtree appearance, Vail will soon have her own show on Outdoor Channel. That show - "Limitless with Theresa Vail" - is scheduled to begin airing on OC in July 2015.
"We are extremely excited to have someone like Theresa on our team," said Jason Pickerill, marketing manager for Bear Archery, in a news release.
"Her passion for the outdoors and bowhunting goes beyond what it will do for her, but what she can do for others out there.

"I am proud to represent Bear Archery," said Vail, in a news release. "The people and the equipment are top notch and l look forward to what the future will hold for both of us.
"I have been in love with outdoor sports since I was a young girl, so for me this opportunity truly is a dream come true."
