An innovative kayak won the top award at the 2020 ICAST trade show, held digitally this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Old Town Sportsman Autopilot kayak, from Johnson Outdoors Watercraft, won the annual award, beating a field of 434 new products from more than 180 companies in 30 categories. The Autopilot won the Best of Category Award in the Boats and Watercraft category earlier this week.
The motorized kayak ($3,799.99 to $3,999) uses Minn Kota's GPS Spot-Lock technology to allow kayakers to get to their honey holes quicker and then stay locked on those spots, even during adverse conditions.
Touch control is possible using the i-Pilot remote , allowing you to pay more attention to your gear and fishing presentations.
