Rapid-Fire drag adjustment makes perfect, on-a-dime changes to prevent losing the fish of a lifetime (not available on 1000FA). Super Stopper II® anti-reverse roller bearing and repairable clicker. Propulsion Spool increases casting distance by reducing resistance.

The Ci41000FML (MicroLine) reel was built as part of Shimano's technical fishing system for light-line fishing. This reel was designed to fish 5-lb. and lighter Power Pro with a drag system that allows you to fish without concern when fishing these lighter lines. Match the reel up with an Ultralight rod, such as G.Loomis' Trout and Panfish Series plus Power Pro line and you have the ultimate light-line fishing system.
