Mike McClelland is known to many as "Mr. McStick."

After all, the jerkbait slinging bass pro has ridden his Spro McStick jerkbait – andseveral others, for the record – to a record of great success in professionalbass fishing.

But he could just as easily be known as "Mr. Grand Lake," given his deep knowledgeof northeastern Oklahoma's Grand Lake o' the Cherokees, a spot where McClellandhas enjoyed a fair amount of tournament success over the years.

That includes a Bassmaster Elite Series triumph on Grand Lake back in 2006 and aneighth-place finish at the Bassmaster Classic derby held on Grand Lake duringthe frigid month of February 2013.

Given the fact that the current Classic is making a return visit to Grand Lake for the March 4-6,2016 version of the event, McClelland is a good pro to talk with about how the46th version of the Classic will go down.
