TPE/PVC Crabs

TPE/PVC Crabs

Delivering a new level of realism from crab imitations, Savage Gear has released all-new TPE and PVC Crabs in both 2-inch and 4-inch sizes. The product of 3-dimensional scanning of real crabs, true to life detail is found in every aspect of the bait’s form, finish and action. Both families are produced from the same molds, with the premium TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) models delivering enhanced strength and durability when compared to PVC. The Savage Gear Crab is designed to fish on the Savage Gear Stand-Up Jig Head that presents the bait in a natural defensive posture.

Ultra-Real Eel

Ultra-Real Ee

Eels are a favorite prey item of trophy fish everywhere they exist. With a hard body and included interchangeable PVC tails, the new Savage Gear Hard Eel emits an inescapable power of attraction under a wide variety of presentations.

The Hard Eel begins with the body that was molded from a 3-dimensional scan of a real eel. The body system includes magnetic hook holders that hold dual trebles tight to the body to maintain a natural profile and deliver the hook point for maximum purchase on the strike.

Dual soft screw-in tails radically advance the Hard Eel’s presentation. The Hard Eel comes rigged with winding tail in place for a 10-inch overall length. This tail is meant for straight cranking, giving deliberate side-to-side rocking action to the head and maximum swimming action from the tail. Replacing the long tail with the short, the Hard Eel becomes a side-to-side gliding bait on a twitch retrieve.

Line-Thru Trout, New Sizes

Line-Thru Trout, New Sizes

The supreme action of the Savage Gear Line-Thru Trout has punished an amazing amount of big bass, and it’s only gotten more dangerous for 2015. New smaller 6-inch and much larger 12-inch sizes are now available. Featuring the same ultra-realism in primary and secondary action as well as true-to-life finish detail, upgrades will both draw and convert more strikes.

Premium taxidermy-grade eyes are now standard to all sizes, completing a fiercely natural appearance under close scrutiny and slow attack. All sizes also include hook harnesses in the top and bottom of the bait.

TPE Popping Shrimp

TPE Popping Shrimp

In 2014 the Savage Gear TPE Shrimp had its way with unsuspecting inshore species that had not previously encountered Savage Gear realism. For 2015, the new 3D TPE Popping Shrimp utilizes the same superior 3-dimensional scanning of real shrimp and premium Thermo Plastic Elastomer build, with custom design features tailored to popping cork anglers.

4-Inch 3D Craw

4-Inch 3D Craw

Crayfish are one of the most singularly important food items for lake and river predators, available throughout an incredible geographic range and in an amazing array of colors and sizes. The design detail of the Savage Gear 3D Craw is unmatched in realism, primary and secondary action. For 2015, Savage Gear has further enhanced attraction of the bait with a new 4-inch size.

Armor Tube Worm

Armor Tube Worm

The all-new Savage Gear Armor Tube literally eliminates weakness from your tube worm presentations. Molded over internal micro -mesh, the Armor Tube stands up to rigors of tournament fishing. Success of the bait is no longer measured by the fish, but by the tens of fish.

The Savage Gear Tube Worm features heavy salt content, adding density for a consistent sink rate on a wacky rig.

8-inch Glide Swimmer

8-inch Glide Swimmer

The multi-year development of the Savage Gear Glide Swimmer continues with the 2015 introduction of the 8-inch bait to join current 5-1/4” and 6-1/2” models. On a straight wind the Glide Swimmer delivers an exceptionally wide and smooth “S” pattern. On a pause, the bait continues its glide and slowly sinks communicating an easy meal to top predators.

Rather than overpowering fish, the Glide Swimmer raises giants that very conservative in their use of energy.

Manic Prey

Manic Prey

Duplicating the hard-rocking action of the original Manic Prey, new for 2015 are two Manic Prey Deep Divers. Two models, 4-1/2” and 6-1/2” in length, achieve dive depths 15- to 20-feet and 20- to 25-feet, respectively.

Key to the Manic Prey Deep Divers is exceptional stability at speed and fierce durability. Their supremely balanced design includes complete through-wire construction and extra strong forged split rings. Included in the package are high-power single hooks as an option to the heavy-duty trebles.
