Ranew's Firminator Accu-Seed System

Whitetails prefer a variety of food sources on the land you manage.

The most effective habitat management plans for white-tailed deer hunting provide proper year-round nutrition by planting a variety of crops for different seasons.

Whitetails prefer a variety of food sources that can have different seed sizes and planting recommendations. That’s a problem if you’re not equipped.

The Firminator Accu-Seed System, one of the many features of the Firminator all-in-one food plot implement, handles seeds of all sizes — everything from clover to corn, soybeans, peas, and sunflowers — and can even sow the different-sized seed at the same time.

From press release:

”Begin by filling the seed hopper and adjusting the metering openings by moving the linkage handle on the back of the seedbox. An indicator on the handle shows seed size selections in one-16th inch graduations. Set the size for the largest seed in the hopper and the metering system will automatically dispense seed at the generally accepted rate. When you are ready to dispense the seed, open the small access door on the side of the frame, pull and turn the small pin one-quarter turn and release. This engages the metering shaft allowing the seed to fall as the Firminator rolls.

As you move forward, seeds are dropped into a specially designed baffle that thoroughly distributes the seed right in front of the culti-packer. This enhances that all-important seed-to-soil contact for better germination rates as well as protecting the seed from wind deflection. And because the system is ground-driven, the seed is metered out relative to the speed you are traveling. When the Firminator stops rolling, the seed stops falling. All those features mean no more wasted, expensive seed.”
