H20 Waterproof Cooler

As durable and reliable as it is easy on the eyes, the new H20 Waterproof Cooler series will be your new favorite beach buddy, fishing friend and party pal. I didn’t know it was possible to be this excited about a cooler, but here I am boasting …

This soft cooler is 100% waterproof, sweat proof and leak-proof, so you can head off on your next adventure without worrying about bad weather tarnishing it or a messy trunk. While the tarpaulin exterior protects the outer shell, the closed-cell foam and double-coated nylon liner is what keeps your drinks ice cold all day long. I took this cooler on a weekend-long camping trip with 90-degree days and boy, did my cold ones withstand the test of time! By the end of the trip, I returned to my apartment with much of the ice still solid.

Carry your H20 companion comfortably with the adjustable padded shoulder strap or padded tote handles. The shoulder strap is my preferred method of carting this cooler around … hands free is the way to be. If you prefer to carry it on your back, Polar Bear Coolers also has the same cooler in backpack-form. The outer zipper pocket is great for keeping a bottle opener or a few utensils. I often find myself storing jigs and extra line in there while on a fishing trip for easy access. And, just when you thought this cooler couldn’t get any better, the crafty folks at Polar Bear Coolers snuck in two aluminum side-release buckles that also serve as bottle openers!

The H20 Waterproof cooler comes in three different colors: tangerine, ice blue and charcoal. Sizes include: 12-pack ($89.95), 24-pack ($129.95), and 48-pack ($199.95). I had trouble deciding on a color but went with the ice blue 24-pack and am not disappointed, although the tangerine was tempting. If you often take weekend-long excursions, I’d recommend the 48-pack size so you can comfortably pack enough provisions to last you 2-3 days.

Additional features:

  • Dimensions: 10” x 18” x 12”
  • Skid resistant rubber bottom saddle
  • Eight stainless steel tie downs
  • Four carabineer bow tie daisy chains

Urban Canteens

The Urban Canteen bottles from Polar Bear Coolers will keep your beverage cold for 24 hours, or hot for 12 hours. (Chelsie Walters photo)

If you have a water bottle you love, you will inevitably drink more water and your body will thank you. Lightweight, stylish and practical, these stainless-steel insulated water bottles will keep your beverage cold for 24 hours or hot for 12 hours. Although I’ve yet to use it for a hot drink, I can honestly say that after a full day of kayaking in hot weather, my drink was still cold by the end of the day. I’m looking forward to filling one with hot chocolate and taking it ice fishing once the temperature starts dropping again.

In addition, its narrow shape makes these bottles comfortable to hold and they can easily fit in a cup holder. Polar Bear Urban Canteens come in a variety of colors and sizes. Sizes include a 17-ounce, 24-ounce and 32-ounce. Color options comprise of white, gray, neon green and neon blue. I ordered one and loved it so much that I ordered two more. So, I encourage you to ditch the plastic bottles, help out mother earth, and treat yourself to the cold (or hot!) beverage you deserve.

Additional features:

  • Customizable – the company will add a complimentary logo to your bottle upon request; additional colors available for customized bottles; option to order in bulk
  • Copper-Plated, Double-Wall, Vacuum Insulated 18/8 Stainless Steel Construction
  • Watertight Screw Top Lid
  • Easy to Clean
