Outgo™, a new line of specialized personal care products originally developed as tactical gear, is now a part of the McNett Corporation family of brands.

Bellingham, WA (July 26, 2011) -- McNett®, the outdoor industry leader in personal care, water treatment and gear care and repair products for nearly 30 years, is pleased to announce the launch of the Outgo™ personal care brand. Originally designed for the military as tactical gear, these products have become increasingly popular with service members and are now available to the general public as "Outgo."

"As the leading maker of specialty outdoor goods, McNett Corporation brands are the most recognized and trusted products in their categories," said Tanya Brooks, vice president sales at McNett. "The U.S. Military has counted on us for years to deliver high-quality tactical gear that is compact, lightweight and efficient in the field. When space and weight is critical, Outgo delivers."

Outgo products are designed for life on the move. The personal care products keep backpacks light and help alleviate heavy loads while hiking, camping, traveling or backpacking. Included in the product line are an Ultra Compact Microfiber Microsuede Towel available in nine assorted colors, a new Microfiber Microterry Towel, Waterless Wash, Microterry Washcloth Kit, Z-Mask Sleep Shield and Smart Suds, which is designed to clean gear, clothes, hands and dishes.

"Outgo products allow you to stay clean, dry and warm when you're on the go or out in the field," said Brooks. "Our microfiber towel, for instance, is ultra compact, light weight and highly absorbent. It folds down smaller than a paperback book and absorbs five times its weight in water."

Current products in the Outgo line can be found in most military retail locations including AAFES, NEXCOM, MCX, CGX, Ranger Joes, Ops Gear and more. Outgo has expanded into consumer-oriented retail locations as well and McNett continues to add innovative consumer products to the line as the brand evolves.
