TEMECULA, Calif. - Taking viewers across America and around the world on unparalleled adventures for twenty years, Outdoor Channel is the undisputed leader in outdoor television. The cable network, which reaches nearly 40 million U.S. households, maintained its dominant position during the fourth quarter (Q4) ratings period, as well as full-year 2013.

From September 30 through December 29, 2013, Outdoor Channel delivered almost three times as many homes* each month as its closest competitor, according to data from Rentrak TV Essentials. The Q4 numbers were driven by a solid fall programming lineup of 95 shows that featured Ted Nugent, Willie Robertson, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Michael Waddell, Lee and Tiffany Lakosky, Jim Shockey and more on captivating outdoor adventures.

The network's Q4 success was part of a 2013 four-quarter sweep in average audience, with Outdoor Channel out-delivering the second place network by +78%, +99%, +153% and +159% in each respective quarter in total day household averages.

Over the course of the full 2013 ratings year, Outdoor Channel surpassed its closest competitor by +120% in total day average household delivery. In primetime, Outdoor Channel delivered all of the top 50 programs among networks dedicated to outdoor entertainment.

The winter/spring 2014 lineup is already underway and Outdoor Channel fully expects to continue its 2013 success with the network's extensive roster of programming featuring esteemed outdoor personalities and celebrities.
