Bryan, Aldean, Shelton, Lambert, Zac Brown nominated for awards

American Country Awards on FOX

Root on the Outdoor Channel talent tonight during the American Country Awards airing at 8 ET on Fox.Buck Commander’s Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, country music power couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, who have guest starred on Outdoor Channel, and Zac Brown Band and a member of the Red Arrow family, are among the nominees.

Bryan, Aldean and Shelton are all up for the Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year, while Lambert is a nominee in the Female Artist of the Year. The Zac Brown Band has a chance to win the Artist of the Year Duo or Group category.

In the Album of the Year, Aldean was nominated for “Night Train” and Shelton for “Based On A True Story…”


Shelton and Lambert are also up for Single of the Year in the male and female categories; him for “Sure Be Cool If You Did” and her for “Mama’s Broken Heart.” In the group single category, the Zac Brown Bad was nominated for “Goodbye In Her Eyes.”


In Single of the Year Vocal Collaboration, Aldean and Bryan teamed with Eric Church for “The Only Way I Know,” while Shelton and Pistol Annies are up for “Boys ‘Round Here.”


The fourth annual ACA will be hosted live by Trace Adkins and NASCAR superstar Danica Patrick from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Taylor Swift leads with eight nominations, and Florida Georgia Line and Shelton each earned seven nominations.
