Outdoor Channel's ''Hollywood Weapons'' Puts Iconic Movie Scenes to the Test; Sportsman Channel's ''Predator Pursuit'' Travels to the Sonoran Desert and Sunshine State Explorations Take Place on World Fishing Network

DENVER (June 2, 2017) – As summer temperatures begin to roll in, the travel bug hits the week of June 5–11, taking viewers around the world beginning with a trip to Scotland on Outdoor Channel's Duck Dynasty, the old Mexican desert on Sportsman Channel's Predator Pursuit and the pristine inshore and offshore waters of Florida on World Fishing Network.

Outdoor Channel’s favorite Duckmen lead Monday night with three ducks in a row on Duck Dynasty, starting with adventures in Scotland as the family reconnects with their Scottish roots and family heritage and ending with the guys at a local thoroughbred race track. Next, on Hollywood Weapons,

host Terry Schappert puts several weapons to the test in an underwater experiment assessing a scene from Criminal Minds. Then, in an iconic scene from JAWS, Chief Brody hangs onto his sinking boat as the giant great white shark approaches him with a scuba tank lodged in its mouth, so the guys construct a giant replica shark on a motorized platform to test if you can hit, and explode, the tank with an M1 Garand rifle. Next, on Carter’s W.A.R., Ivan joins an elite team to see how wildlife is captured, bought, and sold. This “Wildlife Trade” is a ground-breaking business model that could change the entire face of conservation in Africa. Friday Night at the Movies closes out the week with a group of four men who come together to help fight injustices and bring peace and equality back to a small western town, in the 1985 American western film Silverado.

Outdoor Channel Highlights for June 5–11:

Sportsman Channel’s Monday Night Hunts presented by MidwayUSA begins with big bears and tough breaks as this year’s newest guide, Rachel, is introduced on Jim Shockey’s The Professionals. Then, on Predator Pursuit, Jeff Thomason and the Amend2 crew cross the border into Mexico to hunt with Judd Ball on the Rancho Del Gringo. Finally, on Lock & Load Thursdays, James Tarr and Michelle Casada experience real-world training on Guns & Ammo presented by Brownells that teaches them how to be prepared if confronted in a parking lot, grocery store or other crowded public place.

Sportsman Channel Highlights for June 5–11:

Then, watch as last week’s winner tries to move on to the Championship on Skeeter Bass Champs with Fish Fishburne. Next, Peter Miller – professional angler and three-time World Sailfish Champion – guest hosts a unique fishing adventure in the Sunshine State on Bass 2 Billfish.
