Winchester reports the .400 Legend produces about 25 percent more energy than its little brother, putting it on par with the .450 Bushmaster but with less recoil. The initial .400 Legend loads feature a 190-grain Extreme Point, 215-grain Power Point and subsonic 300-grain Open Tip Range bullet.
