New Crossbows from Wicked Ridge

Fury 410 and Raider 400 De-Cock crossbows are new for 2022.

Wicked Ridge Crossbows' new-for-2022 bows are all about safe de-cocking at affordable price points.

Both bows, designed and engineered by TenPoint Crossbows, feature the revolutionary ACUdraw De-Cock, which silently and safely cocks and de-cocks, eliminating the hassle of discharging your bow at the end of the hunt and damaging arrows. The bows also feature the D1 Trigger, Wicked Ridge’s smoothest trigger ever.

The new Wicked Ridge Fury 410 De-Cock is the company’s shortest crossbow to date, and "packs $2,000 worth of features into a price-point of $1,099.99," says CEO Rick Bednar. The reverse-draw Fury 410 is a perfectly balanced crossbow that measures only 29 inches long, 9 inches wide and shoots up to 410 feet per second.

The new Wicked Ridge Raider 400 De-Cock is the lowest-priced safe de-cocking crossbow on the market, the company says. The ultra-light Raider features speed up to 400 fps at a price starting at $799.

The new ACUdraw De-Cock system features the company’s Auto-Brake Gear System that eliminates losing control, and ultimately injury or costly bow damage, during the de-cocking process. Hunters can remove their hands from the handle at any point and the handle will stop in place. The easy-to-operate ACUdraw De-Cock reduces the effort required to cock the crossbow to just 5 pounds and is equipped with a 1,000-pound strength Nylon strap to reduce wear and abrasion.

The D-1 Trigger is a two-stage, zero-creep design that includes a new DFP (Dry-Fire-Prohibitor) and delivers a consistent crisp, 3.5-pound pull. One push of a button moves the trigger to "de-cock" mode and allows the user to safely de-cock the crossbow.

"Combining reverse-draw technology, safe de-cocking, and speeds up to 410 feet-per-second produces a crossbow never seen before at its price-tag," Bednar said of the new Wicked Ridge Fury 410 De-Cock crossbow.

The Fury 410’s reverse-draw, ultra-narrow bow assembly measures a remarkable 9 inches wide. Its lightweight cast aluminum riser is fitted with the company’s slim RD pocket to reduce sound and vibration. The pockets hold the bow’s 11.7-inch limbs that are powered by the Reaper Cam System.

The new TACtical X stock is molded from glass-filled polypropylene and configured with optimal comb-height and length-of-pull, and features tactical cutouts to reduce weight and improve balance. Large safety wings on top of the fore-grip help prevent a shooter’s fingers and thumb from moving above the flight deck while shooting. Also, its weaver-style dovetail is fitted with a nylon-filament arrow retention brush that improves arrow grip and alignment and reduces noise and vibration.

Equipped with TenPoint’s RangeMaster Pro Variable Speed Scope, the Fury 410 De-Cock is double-dip fluid imaged in Wicked Ridge’s new proprietary PEAK XT camo. It’s available only as a complete ready-to-hunt package that includes scope, three carbon arrows, string stop system, and a quiver.

The Wicked Ridge Raider 400 De-Cocke crossbow features a powerful 185-pound bow assembly consisting of a lightweight cast aluminum riser and machined aluminum limb pockets fitted with 11-inch WRX double-laminated limbs. Powered by speed designed, 5S Cams and DynaFLIGHT 97 string and cables, the bow assembly measures only 15 inches wide and drives an arrow down-range up to 400 fps.

"We all know the inconvenience of carrying a target to discharge your arrow or shooting it into the ground after the hunt. The Raider 400 combines the convenience of de-cocking and speeds up to 400 feet-per-second at a price-point affordable to all hunters," Bednar said.

The Raider 400 also features the new TACtical X stock. The design measures an easy-to-handle 31.5 inches long and weighs 6.5 pounds.

Pre-sighted at the factory, the Raider 400 De-Cock is double-dip fluid imaged in the NEW PEAK XT camo pattern. Its ready-to-hunt package includes a TenPoint Multi-Line Scope, three carbon arrows, and a quiver.
