Rattling horns brought this big 8-point buck to Travis McLean on the second day of gun season in Wilkes County.

Nine-year-old Dylan Cardwell got hooked on striper fishing while on Croatan Sound with his mother, Tiffany, and grandfather, Von Mustin.

This big Polk County 8-point had a "rough" score of 137 and was taken by Bob Nelson of Hendersonville.

Bill Rottstedt took this 8-point buck in midseason near Elkton in Bladen County. Rottstedt is from Fayetteville.

Christopher S. Turbyfill, 6, was hunting on private land with his father, Chris M. Turbyfill, last December when he shot this 4-point buck, his first deer.
