America’s Leader In Outdoor TV, as well as during all this week’s Major League Fishing time slots. The schedule change will allow the General Tire Summit Cup Championship Round to premier on NBC, Saturday, February 9 at 1 p.m. ET/noon CT. The championship will be offered on Outdoor Channel the week following its national broadcast on NBC.
“We believe it makes sense to offer the Championship Round first on NBC, and we are fortunate to have a great Major League Lessons show in place this week that features some of the world’s best anglers offering tremendous tips and techniques,” said Major League Fishing Commissioner Don Rucks.

“Chautauqua Lake presented some unusual challenges to the anglers, because an algae bloom that covered the lake changed the strategy for almost all of our anglers. They spent a lot of time on docks. And since every angler in America needs to know how to fish docks, we thought this would be a great chance to present what you might call ‘Dock Fishing 101.’ You’re going to have some of best dock fishing pros anywhere showing you everything you need to know about how to fish a dock to your advantage.
“I love watching this particular show, and it’s not entirely dock fishing,” Rucks added. “There will be some frog fishing, and you’ll see and hear Mike Iaconelli and Ish Monroe, for example, giving some of their own little spins and philosophies. But it focuses mostly on docks. If I’m a competitive angler, I wouldn’t miss this one.”
This episode features Iaconelli, Monroe, Denny Brauer, Shaw Grigsby, Mark Davis and Jeff Kriet.
