TEMECULA, Calif. – January 10, 2011 – Outdoor Channel, America's leader in outdoor TV, and the
National Shooting Sports Foundation (
NSSF) have entered into an unprecedented partnership for the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (a.k.a. SHOT Show). The SHOT Show, which takes place from January 18th through the 21st in Las Vegas, is the largest and most comprehensive trade show for all professionals involved with the shooting, hunting and firearms industries.
This year, Outdoor Channel is proud to be a major sponsor of the event and the major sponsor of the SHOT Show State of the Industry dinner and awards ceremony. Outdoor Channel will also have a presence woven into various aspects of the expo, including branded informational kiosks, signage and banners throughout the show floor, the official show lanyard and an exclusive suite for Outdoor Channel executives and clients in the Bassano Room (#2601), which is located on Level 2 at the junction of the Venetian Hotel & Casino and the Sands Expo & Convention Center.
Moreover, Outdoor Channel will hold the outdoor industry’s premier awards show, the 11th Annual Golden Moose Awards. The show will be emceed by Willie Robertson of Outdoor Channel’s “Buck Commander Protected by Under Armour” and "Benelli Presents Duck Commander," and will feature a performance by country music sensation Blake Shelton. The Golden Moose Awards honor the on-air talent, design and graphics personnel and producers of Outdoor Channel's industry-leading programming.
Outdoor Channel will also be announcing several new developments at the show that speak to its unique leadership in providing the most compelling programming that captures the excitement of the great outdoors.

Once again, Outdoor Channel has been named the official cable network of the SHOT Show. Dubbed SHOT Show TV, the programming features the best shooting and hunting shows from Outdoor Channel, plus daily updates from the show floor. SHOT Show TV will air in fifty-five Las Vegas hotels, including the Bellagio, through a partnership with Cox Communications; the Venetian, through a partnership with LodgeNet; and independent hotels like the Wynn and Encore.
