Lew's opened ICAST 2016 with what the company says is its most exciting and innovative new product lineup ever, anchored by SLP Super Low Profile baitcast reels and new rod technology.

"Lew's invented low profile reels and our new SLP engineering gives us our lowest profile models yet," said Lew's President Gary Remensnyder." Their small diameter 32mm spool starts and accelerates fast. The compact design provides superior handling of light lines and lures, yet gives up nothing in overall performance."

"Our Team Lew's Custom Pro rod series is without a doubt our finest ever. And the quality IM8 graphite rods matched up in our Mach II combos benefit from some of that same Nano construction technology, plus have Winn Dri-Tec split grips.

"I'm thrilled with this new product lineup and am humbled to be associated with such a great brand and team," Reeves added.
