Even if you are stuck in the office, you can still go hunting.
Outdoor Channel is bringing you a live hunt through a web stream on Thursday, Nov. 21, giving you the opportunity to spend a day on the stand from the comfort of your desktop.
“This is live, un-cut and raw,’’ said Mike Williams, vice-president of Digital Media for Outdoor Channel. “It’s the closest thing to being out there yourself.”
The live hunt, which will begin around 7 a.m. ET and run until around 10 a.m., features 2012 Bassmaster Angler of the Year Brent Chapman, an avid and accomplished bow hunter.
Chapman will be hunting in eastern Kansas, a renowned trophy area. Chapman has consistently arrowed Pope and Young deer off his property, including the one pictured here on Nov. 1.
Steve Bowman, OutdoorChannel.com editor, will join Chapman in his ground blind to host the hunt.
As in any hunt, anything can happen.
Outdoor Channel wants its viewers to participate in this groundbreaking live webcast, so watch, ask questions and post comments using Facebook or Twitter . You could hear your name on the webcast!
So mark November 21st on your calendar and plan to watch, even if you have to hide it from your boss... Heck, if your office is anything like ours, tell your boss and co-workers and have them watch with you – you all might learn something!
Chapman approaches bow hunting like he does tournament fishing, and he’s offered us his hunting tips and tactics in an eight-part series .
