Homemade Cocktail Sauce

Sauté the onion in butter. Add the remaining ingredients and heat through.

Cocktail Sauce without Horseradish

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup homemade ketchup or Heinz ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 3 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper, or to taste
  • hot sauce, to taste (optional)

Instructions:

Mix ingredients together. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
