Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's have a message they want to share and they're doing it during Super Bowl LV between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday.
The outdoors-sports retailers unveiled this week their debut Super Bowl commercial — "Get Back to Nature," a 60-second spot promoting outdoors activities like hunting, fishing and camping and connecting with nature. Kickoff for Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on CBS. The game matches superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City and Tom Brady of Tampa.
"Don't forget," a voice says in the ad. "There's still rocks to be skipped. Trails to be trampled. Fish to be caught. … The great outdoors are wide open and they're calling us like never before."

Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris said in a news release that, "In times like these, we need nature more than ever. If there is a bright spot in these challenging times, it's that's more families are discovering the outdoors than ever before. Casting a line on the water, hiking in the woods and camping out under the stars provide us all with much more than social distancing."
The heart-felt commercial is part of Bass Pro Shops' celebration of its 50th anniversary.
Fifty years ago, Morris founded Bass Pro Shops in the back of his father's liquor store in Springfield, Mo. The outdoor retailer has established itself as one of America’s most beloved brands, and was recognized last year as the third-most reputable retailer in America by Reputation.com.
