Frabill Power Stow Micromesh Fish Net

As a kayak angler, I’m always interested in a convenient and functional net that is easily stored, lightweight and strong. That is where the Power Stow from Frabill comes in.
Made with a heavy duty aluminum telescoping handle, it was strong enough to tackle every fish I caught from my kayak this summer and light enough to make it easy to handle. The yoke is glass-filled for more durability and extends very easily. The net frame folds up, making this net very convenient to store behind my kayak seat and quick to access when the time comes. The netting is a knotless rubber mesh designed to be easy on fish. Need extra reach? Not a problem since the Power Stow has an extendable handle with just a press of a button.
(Photo courtesy of Gary Elliot) Each series of net is species-specific and made to match the size and weight of the fish you hunt. The net I reviewed was designed for crappie, panfish, bass, walleye and perfect for kayak use. The model was the 3704 and hoop size was 14 inches by 18 inches with a net depth of 14 inches. Total net length extended was 40 inches and dimensions when stowed were 8 inches by 26 inches. This net was suggested to me as a great kayak fishing net and after using I have to agree. It goes with me whenever I’m fishing in my kayak.
