If you know the right gear matters, mark your calendars for the first Sportsman Channel Outdoor Fest.
The event takes place July 20-22.
If you like gear, you'll love this show. You'll be able to view the latest bows and crossbows, plus airguns and more.

Expect aisle after aisle to be filled with the latest gear. It's hosted by the worldwide leaders in outdoor entertainment: Sportsman Channel , Outdoor Channel , World Fishing Network and MyOutdoorTV .
There will be nearly 500 vendors converging on the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.
Join more than 15,000 outdoor enthusiasts for a jam-packed schedule of seminars, workshops, special events and more. It's an event so large that only the Lone Star State could host it.

Over the course of three days, top regional and national brands in hunting, fishing, shooting, archery, outdoor products, destinations and outfitters will host live demos and lectures.

The Sportsman Channel Outdoor Fest is a showcase for you, the American outdoor enthusiast, and your friends and family. The 220,000-square-foot exhibit hall will be packed with experts discussing the impact of current events, and best tactics and practices for the outdoorsman.
"Besides plenty of proud Astros fans, we know Houston has its share of outdoorsmen and women, too," Outdoor Sportsman Group President and CEO Jim Liberatore said. "With Houston's rich tradition in hunting, fishing and outdoor lifestyle activities, the Sportsman Channel Outdoor Fest will remind all of us about the positive wonders of the outdoors
in spite of the fury nature some-times displays."
Well-known hunters Michael Waddell , Tom McMillan and Pigman are scheduled to appear, give tips and sign autographs. The event will run Friday afternoon through Sunday night.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7 for children and $5 for military, veterans and first responders.
