The Sportsman Channel Outdoor Fest is a showcase for you, the American outdoor enthusiast, and your friends and family. The 220,000-square-foot exhibit hall will be packed with experts discussing the impact of current events, and best tactics and practices for the outdoorsman.

"Besides plenty of proud Astros fans, we know Houston has its share of outdoorsmen and women, too," Outdoor Sportsman Group President and CEO Jim Liberatore said. "With Houston's rich tradition in hunting, fishing and outdoor lifestyle activities, the Sportsman Channel Outdoor Fest will remind all of us about the positive wonders of the outdoors

in spite of the fury nature some-times displays."

Well-known hunters Michael Waddell, Tom McMillan and Pigman are scheduled to appear, give tips and sign autographs. The event will run Friday afternoon through Sunday night.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7 for children and $5 for military, veterans and first responders.
