Eva Shockey is a member of one of the industry’s most respected families. She’s the co-host of Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures on Outdoor Channel. And the 27-year old, who will never apologize for being a hunter, is set to tie the knot this summer to professional hockey player Tim Brent.

Shockey-Brent Wedding Day Countdown

In celebration of Eva and Tim’s nuptials, Outdoor Channel will host a wedding-day countdown. The network will share one image per day from June 10-19 of the lovely couple along their courtship via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Outdoor Channel invites fans to take to social media and offer their well-wishes using the hashtag #ShockeyWedding.

Exclusive First Look: Shockey-Brent Wedding

On June 20, Outdoor Channel will provide an exclusive first-look into the Shockey-Brent wedding by way of the aforementioned social platforms. The network will share candid shots of the ceremony, including photos Eva’s dress, the proud family and the couple’s first moments as husband and wife.

Women’s Outdoor News Under Armour Giveaway

Women’s Outdoor News (The WON) is hosting a “his and hers” themed giveaway tied to the wedding, running from June 8-15. Readers of the leading women’s outdoor e-zine will be able to take their best shot at offering Eva and Tim advice on how to be a successful couple (that hunts and fishes together) via The WON’s website. The lucky winner will get a women’s and men’s Under Armour camouflage logo hoodie.

Eva Shockey has been an official member of the Outdoor Channel family for six years. During that time, she’s captivated viewers with her fearless hunting adventures alongside renowned big game hunter (and dad) Jim Shockey. She also has dazzled audiences as host of the red carpet pre-show for the network’s Golden Moose Awards, among other duties.

In May 2014, she became the second female to grace the cover of Field & Stream in its 119-year history. During this year’s Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, RAM Trucks aired a commercial called “Courage Is Already Inside,” with Eva, Miranda Lambert, and others. The hunting industry has watched the Vancouver Island, Canada, native blaze her own trail. Now, she’s blazing another new trail – right down the aisle!

Join Outdoor Channel in celebrating the wedding of Eva and Tim, and offer your heartfelt congratulations via social media using #ShockeyWedding.

Catch Eva on brand new episodes of Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures this summer, beginning Sunday, July 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
