(From press release) Salt Lake City, Utah — Easton Archery announced a sponsorship and discount program in support of Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) .
"We are supporting S3DA because the organization offers kids a chance to learn the sport of archery and understand the benefits of practice and competition, while having a lot of fun at the same time,” said Mark Pezzoni, President of Easton Technical Products.
Easton will provide several attractive discount programs for S3DA members and new clubs. The new club offer will be aimed at helping new S3DA affiliates kick-start their archery ranges.
S3DA is a "next step" program designed to follow introductory archery programs such as those offered through 4-H and the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). S3DA’s founders created key partnerships with archery and conservation organizations such as the Archery Trade Association (ATA), National Field Archery Association (NFAA), the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) and the Pope and Young Club to promote continuity in skill levels, while encouraging life-long participation in 3-D and bowhunting.

"Easton is a leader in the archery category. Easton arrow s are known for innovation and quality. We are pleased that Easton Archery has realized the importance of S3DA in ensuring the future of the sport of archery. The sponsor dollars and discount program will allow us to pass savings down to our State Chapters, Clubs and Teams so they can grow at the local level. The Easton name will provide rich experiences for our youth archers across the country for years to come," said Jennie Richardson, S3DA Executive Director.
S3DA is committed to helping local programs grow and support the skills of student archers looking for new challenges and expanded opportunities. Started in December 2012 by the Scholastic Archery Association, S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of young archers, grades 3–12.
