Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cups canned tomatoes
- ¾-pound ground caribou venison meat
1. Brown onion and meat in skillet with butter. Add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cook until it thickens a bit.
2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and grease a casserole dish; set aside.
3. After the meat mixture is thickened, pour into the prepared baking dish. Top with biscuits and bake for 20 minutes.
