Caribou Venison Pie Recipe

This venison caribou recipe is quite literally, easy as pie!

Serves: 2
Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, sliced
2 cups canned tomatoes
¾ pound ground caribou venison meat
Biscuits

Directions:

Brown onion and meat in a skillet with butter. Add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cook until it thickens a bit.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees and grease a casserole dish; set aside.
After the meat mixture is thickened, pour it into the prepared baking dish. Top with biscuits and bake for 20 minutes.
