Camo Form Heavy Duty Fabric Wrap Now Available in MultiCam Camouflage Pattern

McNett® adds MultiCam® pattern to its Camo Form® line of camouflaged, heavy duty fabric wraps.

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- McNett®, the outdoor industry leader in personal care, water treatment and gear care and repair products for nearly 30 years, is pleased to announce the addition of the MultiCam® camouflage pattern to its Camo Form line of heavy duty fabric wraps. MultiCam is designed to work well across a very broad range of environmental conditions and adapts to varying times of day, environments, seasons, elevations, weather and lighting conditions.

"MultiCam's ability to blend into various environments makes it an ideal fit for the Camo Form brand," said Rick Arnold, product development manager. "It is a great all-around camouflage pattern that can be used almost anywhere, in almost any conditions."

MultiCam relies more on a blending effect than a contrast effect to disguise the wearer and takes advantage of the way the human eye and brain perceives shape, volume and color. It is designed to reflect some of the surrounding colors of the environment, and works on the principle that an observer can see something but still not recognize it as anything to be interested in.

"Since only a very small portion of the human eye perceives color, the brain does a lot of 'filling-in' for the eye," said Gregg Thompson, director of engineering Crye Precision. "MultiCam Camo Form takes advantage of this principle by allowing the wrapped item's profile to begin to lose its edge and fade into whatever color or shape surrounds it allowing the item to blend into most environments."

MultiCam Camo Form is now available via tactical and consumer retailers. Camo Form is also available in the following additional patterns: Realtree AP™, Realtree Max-4®, Snow, Standard Desert, Digital Desert, Standard Woodland, Digital Woodland, Universal Camouflage, Mossy Oak® Brush, Mossy Oak® Shadow Grass, Mossy Oak® Break-Up and Mossy Oak® Obsession.
