California Mako Puts On Aerial Show

Jumping Mako! Here's a cool video from Mission Bay, California that shows the speed and power of a big mako shark. Alex Beck, using a fly rod, hooked into a mako that was an estimated 10 feet long and weighing 800 pounds. Beck was participating in a the€¦you guessed it€¦Flying Mako tournament, which is a charity flyfishing catch and release tournament that promotes sustainability, conservation and sound management of mako sharks and other apex predators. Warning, there is some adult language involved in this video.
