Bow Accessories: New Gear from Black Gold, TightSpot

Here’s a look at new-for-2022 offerings for bowhunters from Black Gold and TightSpot.

Black Gold Dual Trac Bow Sights

Black Gold Dual Trac Bow Sights

Built on the industry-leading Pro Sight platform, the Dual Trac raises the bar in single-pin sights for brightness, durability, and ease of adjustability. The sight incorporates Black Gold’s Pro Pin, for a more defined aiming point and less target obstruction. What sets this apart is the second pro pin providing an additional quick aiming point without the need to move the dial.

The Dual Indicator System reduces time and movement by providing a needle for shorter yardages combined with a second needle for longer range shooting. Both needles are independently adjustable to fine to specific bow set- ups. The Dual Trac features micro adjustable windage and elevation makes precise and accurate sighting in a breeze. Just loosen the lock screw and make the adjustment without the worry of the sight adjustment slipping, then lock it back down for rock-solid accuracy. Additionally, it features micro adjust 1st and 3rd axis as well as a non-micro adjust 2nd axis, allowing for precise adjustments to ensure the sight is square to the bow.

The Pro Pin has a narrower pin throat that ends in a round pinhead. This smaller throat allows for less target blackout, as well as a more defined aiming point. The microfiber groove protects the fiber while allowing as much light as possible to reach the fiber optic. All of this combines to make a sleek pin design that still meets Black Gold’s standard for pin toughness.

TightSpot Shift Lock Quivers

The Shift Lock revolutionizes adjustability in a one-piece quiver that no other can provide. The quiver can be fully extended to maximize arrow security and reduce noise while on the move. With nine inches of length adjustment, the quiver also can be adjusted to compact lengths, such as for the treestand or ground blind hunter where space is a premium, while proving maximum arrow security.

"At TightSpotTM, a quiver isn’t just a quiver. It’s an accessory to make everyone a better archer," said Jeff Suiter, Director of Marketing. "The new Shift Lock continues to drive that way of thinking by giving the archer the ability to fine tune every aspect from length, offset, arrow grip and sound reduction. Unlike other quivers, we don’t just hold arrows."

A removable and adjustable second arrow gripper provides extra security for any size arrow-and-broadhead combination. Fixed blade heads stay sharp, and expandables cannot prematurely deploy. The Bulldog gripper’s individually adjustable arrow wedges adapt to virtually any arrow diameter, providing maximum arrow security.

An oversized hood is engineered specifically to accommodate the largest fixed blade and expandable broadheads. Lined with sound-dampening material, the Shift Lock aids in bow noise reduction. It also features a rugged and durable hanging loop for those that prefer to take the quiver off the bow when in the treestand.
