Spinnerbaits have been around the bass-fishing world for decades for a simple reason — they catch bass.
But many bass anglers think spinnerbaits are only for fishing shallow in tight cover and through the weeds.
Dr. Todd A. Kuhn, host of Game & Fish’s Beyond the Bait Powered by Streamlight video tips series, says with so many styles and sizes, spinnerbaits can catch bass from the top to the bottom in the water column -- from deep water to skinny water.
In Episode 7 (“Spinnerbaits from Top to Bottom”), Kuhn tells you how a spinnerbait works in catching bass, as well as the difference between Colorado and willow spinnerbait blades, and when, where and how you should use the lure.
