Some have traditional lines, others are somewhat unique designs. Whatever your flavor, the best new hunting rifles for 2024 introduced this week at the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show in Las Vegas span the gamut.
The annual SHOT Show is the eighth-largest trade show in the country. Companies attend to show their new, updated and existing products in the hunting, shooting, ammunition, apparel and gear sectors. You’ll begin seeing these products, some of them soon, before the autumn hunting seasons roll around.
Savage 110 Ultralite Elite If you’re looking for a custom package in a factory rifle, the new Savage Arms 110 Ultralite Elite could be it. Savage teamed with several well known partners to create a premium rifle. It features a Proof Research carbon-fiber wrapped stainless stell barrel designed by Savage. The 110 Ultralite Elite also has a MDT HNT26 folding carbon fiber stock, forend with integrated ARCA rail, and buttstock with pistol grip. It weighs approximately 5 pounds, and the folding stock reduces the overall length by 9 inches when folded. The magnesium center section has a gunmetal gray Cerakote finish. Proof Research Latitude .22 LR The Latitude .22 LR from Proof Research is a custom rifle that could double up for hunting, camp use or competitive shooting. Maybe all of them. Rossi R95 45-70 Government lever-action rifle. Rossi USA introduces the R95 45-70 Government lever-action rifle, which has a cold-hammer forged barrel and compatibility with many aftermarket parts. The hand-finished action, which has a 5+1 capacity, includes a large loading gate for convenience and safety. An additional round can be chambered for total capacity of six rounds. Hammerli Arms Force B1 Hammerli Arms Force B1 Hammerli Arms, founded in 1863 in Switzerland but now based in Germany, focused heavily on Olympic competition pistols for the last 100 years. This year, its new Force B1 rifle in .22 LR and .22 WMR options shows many of the top features Hammerli is known for.
