At the beginning of every new year, Game & Fish creates its annual Fishing Calendar, a special list revealing the top local destinations for anglers across the country to catch fish in their own state or region. We ask area experts and guides to share with us the best places to drop a line every month for a variety of species, and we do our own fishing for the practical tips and tactics that give you a higher probability for success when pursuing the bite year-round.
For the 2015 season, we've not only provided three top spots for each month (a total of 36 possible options to consider in each state or region), we've also generated a rating system to give you a better understanding of which months provide the best fishing for a particular location's top target species.
Offering anglers more than 1,000 prime fishing destinations from coast to coast, the 2015 Fishing Calendar is your go-to guide for getting after the local bite this season.
