Lew's Pro SP Skipping and Pitching SLP Reel

Bass Pro Tour angler Andy Montgomery is known as one of Major League Fishing's top pros when it comes to skipping and pitching a jig around docks and other isolated cover featuring a narrow casting window. So it was a natural for Team Lew's to turn to the South Carolina pro to help design the company's unique new Pro SP Skipping and Pitching SLP reel. As Montgomery told In-Fisherman associate publisher Todd Ceisner, the key to the reel's effectiveness is the innovative spool design that includes a shallow and narrow spool, a knot groove that keeps line from riding up on the cast, a special Skipping Zone on the braking system, and an 8.3:1 gear ratio that allows an angler to quickly pick up line when that “tap-tap” bite comes from a big bass lurking in the shadows!
