A self-described whitetail nut who enjoys spending time in a tree anywhere big bucks roam, Bowhunter Editor-In-Chief Christian Berg has been bowhunting deer for more than 25 years and has taken dozens of trophy-class bucks across North America.

Mark Olis

Mark has a passion for hunting and wildlife management. He grew up in central Alabama, chasing deer, turkey, and small game through the hills and swamps. While deer season is a few short months, whitetails keep Mark busy throughout the year. Whether it’s planting food plots, conducting prescribed burns, or running trail cameras year-round, he’s most at home in the field. When he’s not messing with deer, he’s following his mountain feist pup through the fall woods as she trees squirrels for him to shoot out.
