DENVER (April 21, 2016) World Fishing Network will air fresh episodes from three fishing series that give viewers a glimpse into the angling world the week of April 25 – May 1. Onlookers of Timmy Horton Outdoors will learn how to choose the right color for their jerkbait in order to catch the most bass. Then, Bass 2 Billfish takes two military veterans on a fishing trip off Florida’s Treasure Coast. On Sunday, World Fishing Journal features three dynamo anglers who are breaking records and taking names with a passion for continuing to better themselves.

Highlights for April 25 – May 1:

Timmy Horton Outdoors (Mondays at 8 p.m. ET): Timmy Horton heads to Wilson Lake in Kansas to catch smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Tim is equipped with a jerkbait in a new color that matches prespawn conditions. This technique is also known as ‘matching the hatch.’ Timmy reminds viewers to try out new colors for the lure because the best selection could change as conditions vary throughout the day.

Bass 2 Billfish (Sundays at 11 a.m. ET): Showhost, Peter Miller takes two military veterans from “Heroes on the Water” on an adventurous, fishing excursion. With the help of master mariner, Cam Kirkconnell the crew catches the Mixed Bag, a charter fishing boat, setting sail out of Stuart, Florida on the Treasure Coast.

World Fishing Journal (Sundays at 11:30 a.m. ET): In this new episode, viewers will meet three young fishing fanatics who live for a big catch and always strive to be the best. Not to mention they all have International Game Fish Association World Record’s to their names. Taylor, Hunter and Jenna live by the notion that records are made to be broken and they attempt to set new standards time and time again. In this original episode, the over-achievers fish for blacktip shark, red snapper fish and bluefin tuna.
