World Fishing Network Says Aloha To Hawaii

The Passion and Adventure That Comes with the Only TV Channel Solely Dedicated to Fishing and the Outdoor Lifestyle Now Available on Hawaiian Telcom

World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, is now available to Hawaiian Telcom TV customers on Oahu.

“We’re excited to partner with a growing, dynamic service provider like Hawaiian Telcom and bring the entertaining and adventurous programming that World Fishing Network provides to Oahu,” said Sean Luxton, SVP of Digital and Content Distribution for World Fishing Network. “Hawaii offers some of the finest sport fishing and shore fishing in the world, and I know that anglers and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy watching some of the best fishing programming from the Mainland and other exciting locations across the globe as they get ready for their next adventure.

“If you’re an angler – whether seasoned or just picking up a rod for the first time – you’re going to want to watch World Fishing Network.”

World Fishing Network will launch as part of Hawaiian Telcom’s Advantage Plus package, which includes more than 225 channels, and will be featured in both standard (Ch. 94) and high-definition (Ch. 1094). To introduce itself to Hawaiian Telcom subscribers, World Fishing Network will be available to all customers as part of a free preview for four months.

“Hawaiian Telcom’s Advantage Plus features a robust list of sports and lifestyle networks, and World Fishing Network is an excellent addition to the diverse programming available to our customers without them having to pay extra for Digi-Sports Pass tiers that other providers charge,” said Ernie Villicana, Hawaiian Telecom’s Executive Director of Video Content Management.
