Programming Schedule Delivers More Than 30 New and Returning Series with New Episodes, Offering the Most Diverse Roster of Fishing Shows Available Anywhere

Lineup Includes Two All-New Original Programs, Shorelines with April Vokey and Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die

World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, delivers more than 30 new and returning shows in January headlined by World Fishing Network’s new original productions, Shorelines with April Vokey and Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die.

“World Fishing Network has made a significant investment over the past year in its programming, and we’re pleased to offer two new original productions that cannot be seen anywhere else as part of our winter lineup,” said Jim Liberatore, President and CEO of World Fishing Network. “We serve a passionate audience of angling enthusiasts and are committed to providing them with the most diverse selection of entertaining and informative programming available anywhere.”

Starting Saturday, Jan. 10 at 11:30 a.m. ET, viewers will travel across the wilds of Canada as April Vokey and her companions set normal life aside and venture off on a journey to document and discover stories, myths and legends for her upcoming book covering the history of steelhead and Atlantic salmon fly fishing in North America. Determined, committed and driven to achieve her lifelong dream of authoring this book, Shorelines with April Vokey steps into the river and between the lines to face the unknown of life on the road – from fickle weather and wildlife to meeting an array of diverse personalities – both on and off the water.

Produced by the Emmy award-winning production company Winnercomm, Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die, based on the bestselling book of the same title by Chris Santella, travels to destinations that should be on the bucket list of every angler. Host Conway Bowman, recognized for his pioneering efforts to catch mako sharks on a fly rod along the coast of Southern California, brings the pages of this renowned book to life as he experiences the people, the places and most importantly, the fishing that makes each location one of the Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die, premiering Sunday, Jan. 11 at 12 p.m. ET exclusively on World Fishing Network.

Other shows making their debut on World Fishing Network in January are the #1 trophy bass fishing show in Texas, Honey Hole All Outdoors, with host Bill Wilcox traveling the Lone Star State in search of its best bass fishing destinations, and iFishigan delivering some of the finest multi-species freshwater fishing on the planet from the Traverse City region of Michigan.

They’re joined by new seasons of Angler West TV, Bass Dr., Bob Izumi’s Real Fishing Show, Canadian Sportfishing, Extreme Angler, Fishful Thinker, Fishing 411, Fishing with Bill Miller, Fishing with Joe Bucher, Florida Adventure Quest, George Poveromo’s World of Saltwater Fishing, Inside Sportfishing, Jarrett Edwards Outdoors, Krappie Kings TV, Lindner’s Angling Edge, The Legacy Experience, The New Fly Fisher, The Next Bite, The Musky Hunter, The Scott Martin Challenge, Timmy Horton Outdoors and Ultimate Fishing Experience.

Fresh episodes of Big Coast Sportfishing, Hooked on Africa, Sport Fishing on the Fly and Reel Animals are presently airing as part of their current seasons.

Another World Fishing Network original production, World Fishing Journal, which brings together a roster of talented sports producers to craft engaging, story-driven features based around the angling community and fishing industry, will continue to present a new episode the first Sunday of every month throughout the year.
