WET TIMES ON THE RIVER

WET TIMES ON THE RIVER
WET TIMES ON THE RIVER
Tonight was a little on the wet side, perfect for fishing. It was a combination of wind, rain, sun.

First fish came on the Zara Spook.

That fish was in rough shape.

Above my finger was a large gash.

Next fish was caught on the Buzz Bait.

The weather went from one extreme to another. Check out the video below.

It was off and on like that most of the evening. At one point the sky opened up and the sun made a brief appearance.

That was pretty awesome to fish in. Awesome picture of mother nature working her magic.

Things cleared and the wind picked up so instead of top water I tossed a Senko and used the wind to drift into the bait.

Love it when they crush it.

With the quick change in weather, I knew at some point during the rain and calm the Pike would be out on the prowl.

That Pike tried to inhale the whole lure. I had fun getting that lure out. Gotta love the attitude of a Pike, seek and destroy everything.

I caught another one shortly after.

I cut my outingĀ  short tonight. I am still a little tired from the two day tournament and travel on the weekend, it was nice to get a line in the water.
