Outdoor Channel, America’s Leader In Outdoor TV; Mike Pawlawski, host of “GridironOutdoors with Mike Pawlawski”; and Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer.

“Gridiron Outdoors with Mike Pawlawski” invites current and retired football players andcoaches on adventures that take them into the wild or on the water to experience the joysof hunting and fishing. The common ground is that all of the guests excelled in theiractions on the gridiron; however, not all are veterans of the outdoors.

With its third season underway on Outdoor Channel, the riveting TV series is excited towelcome back Urban Meyer, a legend in the NCAA football community. Last year, Urbanand his son Nate joined host Mike Pawlawski on the emerald waters of Key West. Theteam chartered a boat and successfully fished tarpon, shark, barracuda and black jack asviewers were provided with a unique look into the coach’s life away from the sidelines.

This go around, Urban, Nate and Mike venture to the Abacos Islands in the Bahamas forthe bonefishing adventure of a lifetime. The episode features a super rare one-on-one sit-down with the coach where he tackles what fishing, football and family mean to him. The coach even provides insight into his recruiting methodology and why his approach is so successful.


Watch Urban Meyer’s Outdoor Channel return, as he provides viewers with an exclusiveglimpse into his life away from the sidelines. He not only makes parallels between fishing,football and family, he also provides intel on his game plan approach, all during anexhilarating bonefish excursion in the so-called “ghost of the flats.” The episode is aboutmore than just fishing as a popular sport, it captures how the spirit of the outdoors bringspeople closer together.
