Up the Creek Fishing

Around the opening day of fishing season every year I give this little creek a go.

It,s hard to get into with its steep banks and dense brush and no room for a fly rod with all the overhanging trees. Later on in the year the vegetation takes over you can?t even get in here, it?s a jungle.

I use a wading stick in here and a 6" spinner rod and still got snag up (me and the rod). Worth it when you start hooking brookies and was surprized with the last one over 14".

Check out my day creek fishing...

Made my day and a great start of fishing season.
