In the Co-Angler Division, Scott Simpson, 29, of Keller caught two three-bass daily division limits for 14.66 pounds. He landed 6.77 pounds the first day and added 7.89 pounds to collect $1,400.

"We flipped docks with shakey head worms on fluorocarbon line," Simpson said. "I caught about 10 bass in the tournament."

Anchoring his bag with a 4.18-pounder, Zac Blue of Arlington led on Day 1 with 9.24 pounds. Catching 2.25 pounds the second day, he finished second with four bass going 11.49 pounds.

In third for the non-boaters, Peter Lewis of Copperas Cove landed four bass for 11.37 pounds with one hitting 4.09 pounds. He boated 4.79 pounds the first day and 6.58 pounds the next day.

Adrian Smiley of Bossier City, La., caught four bass for 10.70 pounds with one 4.14-pounder. He held second on Day 1 with 8.60 pounds, adding 2.10 pounds the next day.

In fifth place, Chris Fayson of Desota boated four keepers for 10.58 pounds including one 3.29-pounder. He brought in bags of 7.55 and 3.03 pounds. Charner Williams of Bryan landed the division lunker, a 5.18-pounder.
