Ticks are a constant worry for outdoor lovers, especially in warmer months, as these tiny pests lurk in tall grass, wooded areas, and even your own backyard, waiting to hitch a ride. But with TiCK MiTT, you can explore the outdoors without the anxiety. This simple, chemical-free solution allows you to effortlessly find and remove loose ticks, so you can enjoy every adventure knowing you're protected.

A Simple Solution for Tick Removal

TiCK MiTT offers a practical, hassle-free solution to remove ticks. This handy mitten looks a bit like one of those window-washing gloves you might’ve received as a last-minute gift from your in-laws after they forgot your birthday. But it’s much more useful.

Whether you're hitting the trails, camping in the woods, or simply soaking in nature, the TiCK MiTT helps you remove those pesky bloodsuckers before they get the chance to attach, keeping you safe from ticks and the diseases they carry.

Easy Tick Removal, No Tweezers Needed

In the event you do pick up a tick (which, let’s face it, is almost a guarantee during most outdoor adventures), you can easily remove it with the mitt. Just slip on the mitten and give yourself and your loved ones a quick swipe across your bodies and clothing to catch any unwanted hitchhikers. Once the TiCK MiTT has captured the ticks, simply throw it inside the provided dryer bag and toss the bag into the dryer for ten minutes. The heat will kill any ticks stuck in the mitt. No more tweezers, lighters, heated pins, or vacuums—just a straightforward way to keep ticks at bay that actually works.

I wish I had a TiCK MiTT after a September mule deer hunt a few years ago. After shooting a buck and getting him packed out, I sat down at camp to relax by the fire. I felt a strange sensation on my nape but didn’t think much of it at first. It ended up being a tick! If only I had brushed down my body and neck with a TiCK MiTT immediately after the hunt.

Tick Prevention for Both Humans and Pets

TiCK MiTT isn’t just a game-changer for humans—it’s also an essential tool for keeping your pets safe. As spring and summer bring more opportunities to get outside and play with your dog, they also bring an increase in ticks, which are especially prevalent during this time of year.

My wife works as a Veterinary Technician at a local animal hospital specializing in sporting dogs, which is great for me and my black Lab, Dewey. But it can also be a bit overwhelming. Every time I take Dewey out, she gives me a full rundown on how to keep him safe: “Don’t let him near bushes you don’t recognize, keep him away from unfamiliar water, make sure his collar is snug but not too tight...” I understand. After working with sick and injured dogs every day, I can see why she’s so vigilant. But when it comes to ticks in the summertime, even I start to get a little anxious about those pests.

That’s where TiCK MiTT comes in. This versatile tool is not only your go-to for removing ticks from humans, but also from your dog. Gone are the days of wrestling your dog down to check every little patch of fur while they squirm or run off. Simply run the TiCK MiTT mitten over your dog’s body as if you’re petting them, focusing on tick-prone spots like the head, shoulders, ears, legs, and undercarriage. The soft fabric is gentle on your dog, and it effortlessly pulls ticks out of their fur. Your dog will enjoy the extra love, and you’ll have peace of mind knowing they’re free from ticks.

I recall a day afield with my friend, Tyler, and his English Setter, Lily, as we chased grouse in the fall. The hunting was dismal, but the company was good. After the hunt, we loaded Lily into her crate and laughed at our pathetic hunt attempt on our way back home. Later that night, I got a text from my friend: “Dude, Lily is COVERED in ticks!” He sent me a picture of a paper towel with three ticks on it. He spent the night trying to find as many as he could. A few days after that, he noticed Lily scratching behind her ear. He decided to take her to the vet, who found a tick lodged deep into the skin. Fortunately, no diseases were transmitted, though the risk was present.

Tickborne Diseases: Why Quick Removal Matters

Ticks are more than just a nuisance, they can carry serious diseases, making protection for both you and your pets a priority.

Ticks carry and transmit harmful pathogens, including bacteria and viruses, which can cause serious illnesses such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and anaplasmosis. Symptoms of these tickborne diseases often include fever, chills, headaches, fatigue, muscle aches, and distinct rashes. If you experience any of these symptoms after a tick bite, it's essential to seek medical care right away.

The risk of infection increases the longer a tick remains attached, as transmission speed varies based on the tick’s species, age, and feeding duration. Removing ticks as soon as possible—before they have the chance to feed—greatly reduces the likelihood of disease transmission. Regular tick checks and swift removal are key to preventing infection.

I remember as a kid coming home from simple outdoor trips like fishing, and my father would require me to check for ticks. It seemed silly at the time, but I later learned he was bitten by a tick as a kid and now suffers the lasting ramifications of Lyme disease.

When speaking about the product, Steve and Olivia Abrams, the founders of TiCK MiTT say, "We’re a family that enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking with our dogs in Upstate, New York. Unfortunately, multiple members of our family and friends have been stricken with Lyme disease over the years, and we know what it means to struggle with the lifelong side effects of tick-borne illnesses. Despite the impact the disease has had, our enthusiasm for nature has never wavered. Our team has worked tirelessly to develop a solution that not only removes loose ticks but also ensures the safety and well-being of our customers. We believe TiCK MiTT will set a new standard in how we protect ourselves from the dangers of ticks."
