Outdoor Sportsman Awards “Fan Favorite Host(s)”

WHAT: For the first time ever, Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel, part of Outdoor Sportsman Group – Networks, have joined together for the 16^th Annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards Powered by RAM (OSA). Formerly Outdoor Channel’s Golden Moose Awards and Sportsman Channel’s Sportsman Choice Awards, the OSA are among the most coveted accolades for outdoor lifestyle programming. Fans of both networks are invited to cast their vote for the Fan Favorite Host(s) category – just two of 17 lauded awards presented at this year’s ceremony.

The OSA will be held on the night of January 21, 2016 at The Venetian in Las Vegas during the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s annual industry gathering, the Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) and Conference. Emceed by Tom McMillan of Sportsman Channel’s MCMILLAN and Michael Waddell of Outdoor Channel’s Realtree Road Trips with Michael Waddell and Michael Waddell’s Bone Collector, the following are among the other awards that will be handed out by network talent and special guests at the OSA:

WHO: It’s time to honor the talent and producers behind Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel’s riveting and unscripted outdoor adventure programming. If you have an opinion on who the top TV show hosts should be, now’s your chance to have your voice heard.

Last year, thousands of fans of both networks took part in selecting their favorite TV show hosts. Last year’s award winners included Outdoor Channel’s Ted Nugent, star of Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild, and Sportsman Channel’s Brian “Pigman” Quaca, host of Pigman: The Series.

WHY: To show their sincere gratitude to their loyal and avid fan base Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel will reward a select few fans with prize packs brimming with outdoor-centric swag. The Fan Favorite voting sweepstakes will include prizes for eight winners – four per network, who will be chosen at random via a prize draw.
