Scoring is based on a points system with the child who accumulates the most points winning the contest. During the last hour of the competition, IBFN will also conduct the Illinois CastingKids State Championships. Additional features include the Kayak Angler's Edge pavilion. See and learn the latest in paddle sports and gear. The pavilion is presented by Paddle & Trail and sponsored by Kayak Angler Magazine. Also, fans of the quiet sport, won't want to miss the Fly Fishing Pavilion, which will be loaded with the newest and greatest fly gear.

Hosted by Pete Gluszek and Mike Iaconelli, Bass University gives attendees insights into how the pros think and allows them to ask questions about lures, tackle and techniques. Bass University will be held on Saturday, January 26th and Sunday, January 27th at the Schaumburg Convention Center.
