Smith Wins ABA Event on Lake Seminole

Bobby Smith from Panama City, Fl is one step closer to the ABA National Championship with a first place win and $448.00 in the American Fishing Tour Divisional Bass Tournament held on Lake Seminole this past weekend. Bobby?s five bass weighed in at 16.13 lbs. Smith said that his winning strategy was by utilizing the Carolina rig on sandbars.Second Place went to Clayton Shouppe with a weight of 14.21 lbs. Third Place was Len Lindahl with a weight of 12.65 lbs. Big Bass went to Brian Smith with an 5.71 lbs. Largemouth.These anglers are acquiring valuable points to insure their birth in the American Fishing Tour National Championship that will be held this fall. Their points are also being used to determine the divisional angler of the year. The top angler by points earned in this division will represent the division in the Angler of the Year final round.The top Six Anglers were:1. Bobby Smith: 16.13 Lbs.2. Clayton Shouppe: 14.21 Lbs.3. Len Lindahl: 12.65 Lbs.4. Larry Gaines: 12.47 Lbs.5. Brian Smith: 11.77 Lbs.6. Kyle Brooks: 10.43 Lbs.Conditions: The weather was clear, windy, and a beautiful day.
