Shimano Dryfender HD Rain Jacket & Bibs
Shimano's Dryfender HD Rain Gear is Tough Against the Elements
Featuring a Shimano developed waterproof and breathable material, the tackle manufacturer enters the fishing apparel market with its new Dryfender-HD rain jacket and bibs. With Shimano's Hyper Repel 100 Technology water repellent treatment to offer "extremely durable water repellency so that rain will actually bead up on the material," said Ted Sakai, product manager for Shimano's Leisure Sports Gear group, "anglers will appreciate a fishing rain suit designed by a company that knows a bit about fishing. Many of us at Shimano don't allow a little rain to keep us off the water, and with our new Dryfender-HD jacket and bibs, we now fish dry."
According to Sakai, Shimano's Dryfender-HD material is not only waterproof and repels the water, it is also breathable so that the jacket and bibs can be worn in all types of climates. Added features to keep anglers dry include fully taped seams, and center front zippers with a storm flap closure. The navy-color jacket also offers adjustable Neoprene cuffs, bellowed pockets with hook and loop closures, and side hand warmer pockets.
