Wacky weightless, and I am not talking about the crazy skinny dude thatlives down the road. I am talking about the Gary Yamamoto  Senko, astellar soft stick bait.

The Senko ca be rigged many different styles but my preference is a fourinch weightless wacky. Is there an easier way to rig a bait.  The thickbody and dense plastic give this a bait a perfect balanced weight, which makes for easy casting and the bait sinks quite fast.Lets put this bad boy to the test.

In the video I make a simple back hand cast and before the Senko hits bottom WHAMMO, as Cookster would say "FISH ON".
Lets try another cast to see what happens.

A simple bait that will land you some decent bass. I had the opportunity to talk to Gary Yamamoto about his baits.

Gary told me that the key to weightless wacky is the horizontal fall, assoon as you add a weight, that smooth descending free fall no longerexists. Gary's preference is a Texas Rig, but he also likes wacky aslong as its weightless. If anybody knows how to rig a Senko, it would beGary.
I prefer the four inch over the five inch. I like the size, weight and the fact that it is easy to control.

A few Senko Bass

If your looking for the perfect soft stick bait, then look no further. The Senko is a thing of beauty, it'll have jaw dropping Bass in a frenzybefore it hits bottom.
