Saltwater Fishing?s New Best Friend

I am a bass fisherman as you know, and have written about some of my most favorite lures in the past, one of which is the Backstabber. The most versatile crankbait and lipless crankbait I have ever seen, with the complete redesign of the crankbait that has changed things. Now Backstabber is expanding into new areas, saltwater.

Keith Ray owner of Backstabber lures contacted me a few weeks ago and let me in on his plan of releasing his New Saltwater Series - 3/4 oz. - Lipless Stabbers. I told him that I would be glad to share the news with the salty fishermen that read the blogs on WFN.

These lures are beautiful, saltwater enthusiast will be impressed with the new line Keith has unveiled.  They come in five colors, Blue Mackerel, Green Mackerel, Mehaden, Red Head, and Sardine. All are amazing.
The Backstabber freshwater and saltwater lures both feature two hooks that rotate 360° that makes it almost impossible for the fish to throw this lure! There is no bottom hook to hang-up, it has been moved to the top of the lure for better hooking power.

These will be available at a local tackle shop near you. In the meantime you can find the lures at the dealers listed on the company website at:  //

Or you can visit Keith as his booth at the Bassmaster Classic in New Orleans, LA Feb 18-20.

Happy Fishing!
