Why I had Rigid Industry Marine Lights installed on my Shallow Sport

As North Carolina redfish tournament anglers, Lee Padrick and I know the value of making predawn pre-fishing runs to our favorite spots or easily making it to first light tournament launch locations on-time. Once at our take-off location, we wait in the dark for the tournament director’s inspection. A benefit to good deck lights is no time is wasted, having the ability to make last minute tackle adjustments, safety checks and arrange gear to maximize our limited space is invaluable. Unfortunately the lights on my boat were not satisfying these needs. I was lacking bright powerful lights to help make these night runs stress free and safe. In addition, my deck lights were weak to say the least. Consequently, I started researching marine lights, I usually start my research by looking at what professional bass tournament anglers are doing. That research did not take long, I quickly learned Rigid Industries is the standard in the professional bass fishing world. Since I don’t believe in reinventing the wheel, I decided to have Rigid Industries’ trolling motor light kit and 4 green deck lights from Brandon Palaniuk’s Signature Series installed on my 18’ Shallow Sport Bahia. I asked my boat rigger and friend Aron Lembke to comment on the installation process and I quote “I am impressed with the light output, low power draw, ease of installation, and multiple mounting options which includes all hardware. I have since recommended these, and other Rigid Marine products to other customers as they are a great product and built to last. So if you need powerful easy to install marine lights I highly recommend Rigid Industries!”- Aron

Since then, Rigid Industries has become a title sponsor of the Carolina Redfish Series. Lee and I both believe in supporting those companies that are actively involved in the sport of competitive fishing. Thank you for your support and making such an excellent product, I look forward to years of illumination.
