Realtree’s founder and CEO Bill Jordan is set to be enshrined in the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame on August 17 in Springfield, Missouri. After beginning his career in the outdoor industry in 1983 with Spartan Archery Products, Jordan founded the company Realtree and led the company to be one of the most popular choices of camo patterns.
According to a Realtree press release, “Bill Jordan, a native of Columbus, GA, has been an active member of the local community for years. His passion for the outdoors led to the founding of Realtree in 1986. Under his leadership, Realtree has grown into a leading brand in the outdoor industry, known for its innovative camouflage patterns and commitment to quality. Jordan’s vision and dedication have not only propelled Realtree to the forefront of the industry but have also fostered a loyal team, many of whom have been with the company since its early days.
“We are incredibly proud of Bill’s accomplishments and his induction into the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame,” said Realtree Vice President, Tyler Jordan. “I’m lucky enough to also call Bill my dad. Growing up and seeing the time, sacrifice, and effort he has put in for nearly 40 years has been incredible to watch firsthand. His leadership, vision, and commitment to the outdoor industry have inspired countless individuals and set a high standard for the community, our industry, and our team members right here in Columbus. This recognition is well-deserved, and we look forward to celebrating this milestone with him.”
